Well, it looks like my vote is for Bob Barr this year. McBush^H^H^H^HCain and Obama voted in support of the bailout.

Maybe I am just naive, but wouldn't it be better to use your vote to vote for someone that can actually win the election (the lesser of two evils approach) rather than wasting what could be an important vote on someone with no shot at all? All those votes for independents could be the votes that end up changing the course of the election, regardless of which political party you favor.
Not that I want to get into a political debate because I don't.
Lesser of two evils is STILL EVIL and third parties would actually win if people would stop saying they can't win. Lincoln brought in the Republicans (who at that time WERE a third party). Voting for someone you don't want is the only way you waste a vote.

If I didn't vote for the Republican, I can complain all I want. If I didn't vote at all that would be a different story.
